Lando Norris’ F1 drivers’ title defence will start with less preparation than his rivals.
At the Australian Grand Prix, Lando Norris had to end his FP1 session early due to gearbox issues with his McLaren. Despite encountering problems early on, he was able to get back on track but did not post a competitive lap time. This unfortunate incident made him one of two drivers who did not complete FP1, with Fernando Alonso also facing technical issues. McLaren decided to conduct precautionary gearbox checks on Norris’ car to ensure everything was in order.
