Lavar Scott, a 21-year-old driver, is currently competing full-time in the ARCA Menard’s Series. Despite not having won a race yet, he finished 2024 as the championship runner-up and currently holds the third position in the standings, just 17 points behind the leader. Recently, Alpha Prime Racing announced that Scott will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut later this month at Dover driving the No. 45 Chevrolet with support from Foxxtecca. This New Jersey native is also set to compete at Gateway earlier this year on September 6th, marking his first race at any of the three national levels of NASCAR. In ARCA, Scott races the No. 6 Chevrolet for Rev Racing where he has shown consistency with 21 top five finishes and 29 top tens in 35 starts, leading 186 laps. Alpha Prime Racing has had various drivers in their No. 45 car this season, with their best result so far being a 13th place finish by Caesar Bacarella at the season-opener in Daytona. Additionally, the team runs the No. 44 car with Brennan Poole as the full-time driver.
