MotoGP world championship leader Marc Marquez defended his brother Alex against critics, urging more understanding for the challenges riders face at each race. Despite speculation that Alex doesn’t push Marc as hard as other competitors, Marc emphasized that all riders deserve respect. Alex, performing well on the Gresini Ducati this season, has often finished behind Marc in races and on the points table. Marc’s remarks came after a race at Assen where Alex seemed faster but didn’t attempt to overtake him. Expressing support for all MotoGP riders, Marc highlighted the competitive nature of the sport and the dedication each rider has to their team.
