Piastri lamented not getting the opportunity to improve his time following Gasly’s spin, but still believes they had the pace for the front row. Despite the setback, Piastri remains optimistic about having a good race and acknowledges that sometimes luck isn’t on your side. Ferrari’s unexpected strong pace, especially with Leclerc, has Piastri looking ahead to potential opportunities for the race, aiming higher than third place.
