Tom Ingram secured a commanding victory in the first British Touring Car Championship race of the fifth round at Oulton Park, demolishing his competition. Despite initial concerns about a damp patch on the track, Ingram’s start in the Excelr8 Motorsport Hyundai i30 N Fastback propelled him to an early lead. Following a safety car interruption, Ingram quickly reestablished his dominance and set the pace for the rest of the race. With a flawless performance, Ingram extended his championship lead over Ash Sutton, who finished in third place after a strategic move by Chris Smiley. The race showcased impressive driving skills and strategic maneuvers among the top contenders in the championship standings.
