F1: The Movie’s depiction of women’s struggles solely based on their gender is disappointing, as seen through the characters like ‘wheel gun girl’ and the technical director Kate. The film’s narrative and portrayal of women in positions of power do not live up to the standard set by other modern films, undercutting the progress towards inclusivity in the sport.
