Cadillac driver Alex Lynn achieved pole position for this weekend’s Le Mans 24 Hours, which holds special significance for him after narrowly missing out on the pole last year. Lynn, part of the Jota Caddy team, reflected on the previous year when Porsche driver Kevin Estre snatched the pole from him by a slim margin. Securing the pole position again after waiting for 12 months felt particularly rewarding for Lynn. Despite facing challenges during the qualifying session, including adjustments to his car mid-lap, Lynn managed to clinch the top spot. Jota team owner David Clark expressed his excitement over the team’s 1-2 qualifying result, noting the collective effort that led to this achievement. The anticipation for the race on Sunday was high among the team, hoping to maintain their strong position and performance.
