Cadillac Shines Bright Under Le Mans Lights: Secures Front Row Sweep Over Porsche

Cadillac showcased its strong performance at the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours by securing the front row of the grid with Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber making late improvements during the Hyperpole session.

Porsche initially seemed poised for another pole position, but Lynn and Bamber’s impressive laps in their V-Series.R LMDh cars pushed them to the forefront.

Lynn claimed pole position with a time of 3m23.166s, while Bamber followed closely behind in second place with a 3m23.333s lap.

The Porsche Penske Motorsport team’s best LMDh car took third place, with Mathieu Jaminet putting in a solid performance.

BMW and Porsche also featured in the top six, with Dries Vanthoor and Nick Tandy securing fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

Antonio Fuoco of Ferrari struggled in qualifying, finishing seventh, while Toyota faced a setback as the #8 GR010 HYBRID LMH car did not set a time in the deciding session due to a lock-up incident with Sebastien Buemi at the wheel.

In the LMP2 class, Mathias Beche clinched pole position for TDS Racing, leading a tight competition with the top four crews being separated by only four tenths of a second.

Louis Deletraz, the 2024 polesitter, secured third place in the #199 ORECA, narrowly beating out Ben Hanley in fourth place for United Autosports.
