Formula 1 is strengthening its relationship with Nestle by introducing new activations and promotions to showcase its official chocolate bar, KitKat. This partnership, established through a multi-year deal, adds to F1’s existing brand collaborations, such as LVMH and Whispering Angel. In celebration of F1’s 75th anniversary and KitKat’s 90th anniversary, joint activities will be launched in Mexico, including fan zone appearances and promotional events. Nestle Mexico’s confectionery business executive officer, Ricardo Bassani, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting F1’s significance in Mexican culture. KitKat’s involvement will extend to the 2025 Mexican Grand Prix, where McLaren reserve driver Pato O’Ward will participate in experiences for fans to win exclusive F1 x KitKat merchandise and tickets. Furthermore, KitKat’s presence will also be felt at the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix, offering fans opportunities to engage with the brand through unique on-pack promotions and win grandstand tickets. F1’s chief commercial officer, Emily Prazer, looks forward to providing fans in Mexico and Brazil with an enhanced grand prix experience through KitKat’s engaging activations. The Formula 1 and KitKat partnership is set to expand globally, with plans to introduce collaborations at additional grands prix and countries throughout the 2026 season.
