The Aragon Grand Prix featured a intense battle between Franco Morbidelli and Fermin Aldeguer, with the pair exchanging blows and even making contact on the track in their fight for 5th place.
Despite the pressure, Morbidelli described the adrenaline rush he experienced during the race, stating that it was a sketchy race where he struggled to find his comfort on the bike.
Morbidelli admitted to nearly crashing three times during the race, especially in turns 9 and 10, but was relieved to bring the bike home in 5th place after a tough battle with Aldeguer.
Reflecting on the similarities between the battle with Aldeguer and his past battles, Morbidelli praised Aldeguer’s strength while also acknowledging that he was able to come out on top this time.
When asked about any issues compared to the previous day’s sprint race, Morbidelli claimed that he faced similar challenges of struggling for speed at the start of the race, emphasizing the importance of bringing the bike home safely in such conditions.
