Although Spain is unlikely to keep two F1 races annually, Barcelona may benefit from F1’s rotational system, similar to Belgium. The Catalan delegation has been in discussions with FOM, expressing confidence that Madrid’s arrival does not necessarily mean the end for Barcelona. Negotiations for a new deal with FOM are ongoing, with an optimistic outlook on reaching a positive resolution in the coming year.
