Cam Waters has extended his contract with Ford team Tickford Racing for the next two seasons, shutting down a potential move for the 2026 Supercars silly season. His teammate Thomas Randle has also signed on for the same period, with the option for a third year. It is understood that Waters turned down a bid from General Motors to switch to a Camaro for the upcoming season. Both drivers expressed excitement about continuing their journey with Tickford Racing and aiming for victories and championships in the coming years. Tickford CEO Simon Brookhouse emphasized the importance of consistency, leadership, and talent behind the wheel with Waters and Randle onboard for the next two seasons. The next Supercars race will take place at Wanneroo Raceway in Perth, ahead of the move to a street circuit in 2027.
