Fabio Quartararo voiced his concerns about the need for better consistency and alignment in push-starting MotoGP bikes following a disagreement with marshals during the French Grand Prix. The clash occurred when he couldn’t persuade two marshals to bump-start his Yamaha after a crash. Quartararo’s frustration led to an incident which resulted in him being penalized at the Silverstone GP, his second confrontation with circuit workers in two weeks. Despite the challenges, Quartararo was optimistic about his performance, aiming to utilize the Silverstone track to assess recent progress made in the engine department. Yamaha is expected to introduce a new in-line four engine during the season, alongside ongoing development of a V4 engine project for 2026.
