Ferrari was fined €5,000 for tampering with tyre pressures during F1’s Imola Grand Prix, violating the sport’s regulations. The violation of tyre pressure rules on Charles Leclerc’s car was noticed by stewards during Friday’s practice session. Regulations on tyre pressures and temperatures, set by supplier Pirelli for tyre safety, were not followed by Ferrari. The FIA confirmed the breach of Article 30.5 a) of the FIA Formula 1 regulations. Despite the fine, Ferrari faces a challenging weekend as Leclerc struggles to keep up with McLaren’s pace at the Imola circuit. Leclerc aims for the best possible result and hopes to outperform expectations. Lewis Hamilton also faced difficulties during practice sessions, finishing 11th in second practice.
