Unveiling the Hidden Treasures: Exploring the Depths of the Unknown

The World Rally Championship service parks will see infrastructure changes this year, with more improvements anticipated by 2026. An enhanced service park model has become a key focus for the WRC’s promotional strategy, aiming to elevate fan and team experiences during events. Plans were unveiled last year to bring the championship to the USA in 2026, and progress has been made with a contract in place for a round in North America next year, pending approvals. The WRC is also enhancing its data provision and team radio capabilities for TV broadcasts, with further developments set to be revealed at Rally Portugal. Current proposals for service park improvements are under evaluation by the WRC board, with a focus on bettering the spectator experience. Additionally, there are initiatives to introduce universal service park structures for long-haul events, starting at the season finale in Saudi Arabia this year and expanding in 2026 to help teams save costs.
