The victory also set a remarkable start for an IndyCar contender in over 60 years, with Palou aiming for triumph in the upcoming Indianapolis 500. Pato O’Ward finished second, showcasing an impressive drive, while Will Power claimed the third spot on the podium after starting seventh.
