Max Verstappen smashed an all-time F1 record to claim pole position for the Italian Grand Prix, leaving McLaren with a fight on its hands at Monza. The four-time world champion not only set a new Monza lap record, but also broke the F1 record for the fastest lap in terms of average speed.
