Racing Bulls boss Alan Permane has indicated Arvid Lindblad is “fortunate” to be making his F1 debut amid the sport’s new regulations cycle.
Racing Bulls boss Alan Permane believes Arvid Lindblad is lucky to be making his Formula 1 debut with the new regulations in place. The British teenager was promoted from Formula 2 to join the Faenza-based squad alongside Liam Lawson. Lindblad’s swift rise in single-seaters has him starting his F1 career at a very young age. Despite a minor incident at Imola during a shakedown, Permane sees the regulation changes as a learning opportunity for Lindblad. The team plans to provide extensive simulator training and take advantage of more testing days to help Lindblad adjust to the F1 environment. Lindblad has already gained F1 experience and will receive the best preparation from the Racing Bulls team as he embarks on this new chapter.
