Charles Leclerc lost out on a potential podium place after his “unacceptable” final lap spin in Miami.
Charles Leclerc revealed the extent of the damage his Ferrari suffered in his last lap spin during the Miami Grand Prix, calling it “unacceptable.” After losing third place to Oscar Piastri on Lap 56, Leclerc spun at Turn 3, hitting the wall but managing to continue. As he limped around the track, both George Russell and Max Verstappen passed him, resulting in a sixth-place finish. Leclerc faces FIA investigations for track limit violations and driving an unsafe car. Taking responsibility for the spin, he admitted the car had significant damage, including a possible puncture and suspension issues. Despite remaining calm during the race, he acknowledged his mistake and vowed to analyze what went wrong.
