Ferrari currently trails Mercedes by 45 points in the constructors’ standings, with Leclerc securing podium finishes in Australia and Japan. The upcoming Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities (ADUO) calculations may allow Ferrari to improve their power unit if deemed necessary. Leclerc believes Ferrari can catch Mercedes in 2026 by optimizing the power unit and addressing the lack of raw power compared to their rivals.
