Jorge Martin wins the Qatar MotoGP sprint after overtaking title rival Francesco Bagnaia twice.
Martin made a daring move on Bagnaia in turn one, resulting in contact. Meanwhile, Marini led the race with Alex Marquez in second. Di Giannantonio had a slow start and dropped to sixth. Martin passed Bagnaia for third, while Di Giannantonio overtook the world champion for fourth. Marquez tried to take the lead but Marini fought back. Martin then took second place from Marquez and eventually overtook Marini for the lead. Di Giannantonio also attempted to pass Marini but couldn’t. Martin successfully held off the pressure from Di Giannantonio, winning the race and closing the gap to Bagnaia by seven points. Marquez finished fifth, defending against Vinales.
