The Rise of Gabriel Bortoleto: Making History with Monaco Qualifying Red Flag

A first red flag has been flown during qualifying at the Circuit de Monaco.

During qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix, Gabriel Bortoleto caused the first red flag by crashing at the Nouvelle Chicane.

The Brazilian driver hit the inside barrier, breaking his front suspension and bringing his car to a stop.

Bortoleto was in 15th place when the incident occurred, prompting officials to halt the session with just over two minutes left.

Fortunately, he avoided hitting the outer wall, which limited the damage that needed to be repaired.

At the time of the stoppage, Charles Leclerc from Ferrari was leading the qualifying session.
