Multiple F1 teams punished after Monaco rule break

Both Alpine and Williams have earned the punishment following third practice at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Both Alpine and Williams team were fined by the Monaco Grand Prix stewards for their drivers exceeding the pit-lane speed limit during final practice. Franco Colapinto from Alpine was caught going 8.9kph over the 60kph limit, resulting in a €900 fine for the team. On the other hand, Williams’ Alex Albon exceeded the speed limit by only 0.2kph but still received a €100 fine. These penalties serve as a reminder for teams and drivers to adhere to the regulations for a safe racing environment.
