The F2 sprint race starting grid at the Monaco Grand Prix has been altered after a spate of penalties from qualifying.
Noel Leon has inherited reverse pole position for the F2 sprint race at the Monaco Grand Prix due to Joshua Dürksen’s three-place grid penalty for impeding Kush Maini.
Dürksen’s penalty means he will start the shorter race from fourth instead of his original P10 qualifying position, while provisionally starting the feature race in P13.
Kush Maini also received a penalty for causing a collision with Laurens van Hoepen, resulting in him being moved from fifth to eighth on the sprint race grid.
John Bennett caused a red flag stoppage in Group A, losing his best lap time and falling outside the 107 per cent threshold for qualifying, but he, along with Van Hoepen, has been allowed to race by the stewards.
The provisional starting grid for the F2 sprint race at the Monaco Grand Prix can be found below for further reference.
