Ferrari has been tipped as the favourites for the Monaco Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton has downplayed Ferrari’s chances of winning the Monaco Grand Prix, but hasn’t completely ruled it out. The Circuit de Monaco is seen as favorable for the SF-26 car due to its low-speed corners and manageable power requirements, making Hamilton and Charles Leclerc strong contenders for their first grand prix victory of the season. Other teams, like Lando Norris’ McLaren, have acknowledged Ferrari as top competitors for the race, with Hamilton also mentioning another rival in the mix. Hamilton believes Monaco’s track suits Ferrari better than others due to the minimal time lost on straights compared to circuits like Montreal. Despite acknowledging Mercedes’ recent upgrades potentially giving them an edge, Hamilton still expects Ferrari to be competitive at the front.
