Lewis Hamilton scored his best result as a Ferrari driver last time out in the Canadian Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton is pleased with the changes happening at Ferrari, including the addition of his new race engineer, which he describes as “absolutely awesome.” The removal of his first engineer, Riccardo Adami, in the winter was followed by the appointment of Carlo Santi, who previously worked with Kimi Raikkonen.
Another key addition to Hamilton’s team is Cedric-Michel Grosjean, who came from McLaren to work on improving the performance of the seven-time F1 champion. Hamilton’s strong display at the Canadian Grand Prix, where he out-qualified Charles Leclerc and finished second, is a testament to the improving dynamics within the team.
Reflecting on the positive changes at Ferrari, Hamilton praised the impact of his new race engineer, Carlo Santi, for helping him find a better performance balance in the car. He also expressed gratitude towards team principal Fred Vasseur for his unwavering support in implementing the requested changes to make Hamilton more comfortable within the team.
Hamilton believes that the team’s efforts are finally starting to show in his performance on the track, acknowledging the collaborative work that has led to his recent success. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and communication in achieving the desired results in Formula 1 racing.
