Red Bull’s Record-Breaking Rise in the F1 World

Quite the feat in what is a highly competitive environment.

Red Bull made history in the F1 sim racing world championship by clinching a record-breaking fourth constructors’ title and becoming the first team to defend its crown twice. Their victory at the virtual Yas Marina Circuit saw them walk away with the majority of the $750,000 prize pool. Although Alpine came in second, Otis Lawrence, an 18-year-old driver, was crowned the drivers’ champion. Ferrari secured third place in the constructors’ standings, while Ismael Fahssi of Ferrari claimed the runner-up spot in the drivers’ championship. The action-packed season brought together nine teams racing across 12 rounds at four live events, starting in Birmingham and concluding at Biggin Hill. F1’s chief commercial officer, Emily Prazer, commended the remarkable achievements of Red Bull and Otis Lawrence, expressing enthusiasm for the future growth of F1 sim racing.
