Charles Leclerc was found in breach of Article B1.6.3a of the FIA F1 regulations.
Charles Leclerc was caught speeding in the pit lane during practice for the Canadian Grand Prix, but only received a warning with no penalty imposed.
His team, Ferrari, was fined €1,000 for the incident as Leclerc was recorded going 16.3km/h above the 80km/h speed limit at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Despite this, Leclerc managed to finish the session in fourth place in Montreal, trailing behind his teammate Lewis Hamilton and the two Mercedes drivers.
The practice session was eventful, marked by three red flag stoppages, including Liam Lawson’s Racing Bulls suffering from a hydraulic issue and Alex Albon unintentionally hitting a marmot with his Williams.
The session was also extended by 19 minutes due to the disruptions, culminating in Esteban Ocon damaging his Haas car in the closing minutes.
