McLaren is set to bring further upgrades to Miami, but Lando Norris has warned that this does not mean they will be able to fight Mercedes.
Lando Norris cautioned against expecting McLaren to immediately challenge Mercedes in Canada due to several unknown factors. This warning comes after Mercedes secured the first non-Mercedes win of the year at the Miami GP Sprint. Norris mentioned that only half of McLaren’s major upgrade was delivered in Miami, with the rest set to arrive in Montreal. He emphasized the differences in track conditions between Miami and Canada, underlining the challenge McLaren may face in competing with Mercedes. Despite the uncertainty, Norris expressed confidence in McLaren’s ability to challenge top teams like Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull at the Canadian Grand Prix.
