The comparisons between Formula 1 and Formula E have been increasing since the former introduced new regulations.
Lando Norris intended to test a Formula E car, attending the Monaco E-Prix as a guest of Andretti Formula E and Jake Dennis.
Several F1 stars were present at the event, including Gabriel Bortoleto, Carlos Sainz Jr., and Nico Hülkenberg, indicating a growing crossover between the two championships.
Norris praised the level of competition in Formula E, acknowledging it as among the best in the world and expressing interest in being a part of it.
F1 drivers at the event examined the Gen4 car closely, aimed at bridging the performance gap between Formula 1 and Formula E.
Despite planning to test a Gen4 car, Norris’s plans were thwarted by scheduling conflicts and F1’s busy calendar, emphasizing the potential for cross-disciplinary learning in motorsport.
