Max Verstappen successfully got his car through to the final stage of top qualifying ahead of the Nurburgring 24 Hours.
Max Verstappen expressed how challenging it was for him to advance to the final qualifying stage for the Nürburgring 24 Hours, describing it as “incredibly tough.”
He had to finish in the top seven during Top Qualifying 2 to qualify for the pole shootout, a goal he successfully achieved before handing over to Dani Juncadella.
Verstappen felt satisfied after reaching the final shootout, amidst tough competition from other fast cars.
He emphasized the difficulty of the session but was pleased with the outcome, mentioning that the last lap was just enough to secure their position.
Verstappen also shared his experience of driving in changing conditions and the dark, feeling confident and well-prepared for the race start.
