Romain Grosjean appeared to be spoiling for a fight with fellow IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong.
Romain Grosjean and Marcus Armstrong got into a heated confrontation at IndyCar’s Sonsio Grand Prix, following an incident during the race. Grosjean, who finished last in P21, was upset with Armstrong for passing him after starting at the back of the pack. Footage shows Grosjean attempting to approach Armstrong, but members of Armstrong’s team intervened. Armstrong jokingly mentioned Grosjean wanting to fight, and Grosjean later clarified that it was a misunderstanding and he was just trying to talk to Armstrong. Motorsport reporter Marshall Pruett confirmed this in a tweet and shared footage of the incident on social media.
