“The #20 BMW M Team WRT’s victory in the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps marked a significant win for the team in the second round of the 2026 WEC season.
Robin Frijns clinched the win, narrowly beating out his team-mate, Kevin Magnussen, in the #15 car by less than two seconds.
This triumph for BMW came after a three-year hiatus from the top tier of endurance racing, their last win as a manufacturer dating back to 1999.
The race concluded in breathtaking fashion, with a thrilling finish as four cars vied for second place while also chasing down the leading car.
Completing the podium in Belgium was the #50 Ferrari, driven by Antonio Fuoco, with the #007 Aston Martin and #7 Toyota finishing in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
In the LMGT3 class, the #21 Ferrari emerged victorious, surpassing the #10 Garage 59 McLaren and #27 Aston Martin, which secured the remaining podium spots in that category.
