McLaren Fires Back Against Lewis Hamilton’s Controversial F1 Claim

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has responded to Lewis Hamilton’s claims regarding its Miami upgrade package.

McLaren boss Andrea Stella has denied Lewis Hamilton’s claim that they exceeded performance expectations with their Miami upgrades. Hamilton, the leading Ferrari driver, finished sixth due to car damage from a first-lap incident with Franco Colapinto. Stella refuted Hamilton’s suggestion, stating that McLaren achieved what they expected from their upgrades and are in line with their development plans. While Ferrari brought more components to Miami, McLaren is planning further upgrades for future races, and the performance gains from their current upgrades meet their expectations.
