Race Ready: Sergio Perez’s Cadillac Warning Amid Aston Martin’s Revival

Cadillac’s nearest rivals through its first four grands prix in F1 has been the Aston Martin team.

Sergio Perez issued a warning to Cadillac not to fall behind as Aston Martin showed progress in F1. Cadillac had struggled initially due to vibrations and performance issues, placing them in 10th position on the grid. Meanwhile, Aston Martin’s improvement in Miami was achieved without upgrades, as Honda addressed the vibration issues and aimed to enhance performance. During the Sprint race, Fernando Alonso outperformed Perez, with both Astons surpassing the Cadillacs in qualifying for the first time. Perez emphasized the need for Cadillac to elevate its performance to keep pace with Aston Martin and their aggressive approach. The Mexican driver stressed the importance of continuous improvement within the team to remain competitive in the evolving F1 landscape.
