F1 has announced a new £1 billion deal with British broadcaster Sky, extending until 2034. This deal supersedes the previous agreement that was set to expire in 2029. Additionally, F1 confirmed a new contract with Sky Italia lasting until 2032, emphasizing Sky’s dedication and excellence in broadcasting Formula 1. Stefano Domenicali, F1 CEO, praised Sky for their longstanding partnership and contribution to expanding the sport’s reach in the UK, Ireland, and Italy. With an annual value of £200 million, the extended contract reinforces Sky’s role as the premier destination for Formula 1 coverage. Dana Strong, Sky’s CEO, expressed pride in their partnership with F1, committing to further innovation and storytelling to enhance the viewer experience.
