Five drivers now face post-race investigation at the Miami Grand Prix, in what will be a busy evening for the stewards.
Alex Albon, Fernando Alonso, and Esteban Ocon were under scrutiny by the stewards post the Miami Grand Prix due to alleged yellow flag violations in Florida.
The incidents took place prior to the safety car deployment on Lap 6 after two crashes occurred on the track.
Isack Hadjar damaged his steering column, leading to his Red Bull hitting the barriers and retiring from the race.
Liam Lawson and Pierre Gasly’s collision during a battle for position at Turn 17 flipped Gasly’s Alpine but thankfully left him unharmed, although both had to retire.
The stewards also examined a pit exit crossing by Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas’ mid-race drive-through penalty for pit lane speeding.
Post-race, the FIA made a retroactive decision clearing Albon, Alonso, and Ocon from further actions regarding the yellow flag incidents.
