Isack Hadjar will start the Miami GP from the back of the grid after being disqualified from qualifying.
Red Bull has accepted responsibility for a mistake that led to Isack Hadjar’s disqualification from qualifying at the Miami International Autodrome.
The FIA found that the floor of Hadjar’s car breached regulations, resulting in his demotion to the back of the grid for the race.
Rather than contest the decision, the Milton Keynes-based team acknowledged its error and the lack of a performance advantage from the infringement.
Team principal Laurent Mekies expressed regret, stating that lessons will be learned and processes refined to prevent such errors in the future.
Red Bull issued an apology to Hadjar, their fans, and partners, emphasizing their commitment to performance improvement going forward.
Their focus now turns to translating their promising practice runs into a strong race performance.
