Liam Lawson addressed the considerable step forward Alpine has made at the Miami Grand Prix.
Liam Lawson admitted to being surprised by Alpine’s progress during the F1 spring break.
Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto showed strong performance at the Miami International Autodrome, qualifying in the top 10 with Team Enstone’s A526 improvements.
Unfortunately, Lawson struggled with a brake issue, settling for P12 in qualifying.
He acknowledged the gap to Alpine and the need for improvement, while recognizing the close competition among midfield teams.
Lawson understood the importance of continuous development in the new F1 era and expressed readiness to learn from others’ upgrades.
