Lando Norris faces the risk of losing his sprint pole position at the Miami Grand Prix due to being summoned to the stewards’ office. He edged out Kimi Antonelli by two-tenths of a second on Friday to secure the top starting position for the Saturday race. McLaren and Norris made a strong comeback after a challenging start in Formula 1’s new era. The stewards have raised concerns over Norris allegedly driving too slowly during qualifying, violating Article 12.2.1.i of the International Sporting Code. Norris will present his case to the stewards at 18:15 local time, and Antonelli could benefit if Norris receives a penalty and fails to start from pole position on Saturday.
