Revved Up: Red Bull’s Bold Claim Unveiled Amid Explosive Upgrades

Red Bull is introducing a significant upgrades package for the Miami GP, which has already offered positive results in the simulator, according to Sébastien Buemi.

Sebastien Buemi has stated that Red Bull’s upgrades for the Miami Grand Prix represent a significant improvement, addressing previous issues where the car was described as “undrivable”. Buemi, who serves as a simulator driver for Red Bull in addition to his racing roles in Formula E and the World Endurance Championship, recently tested the upgrades in the simulator in preparation for the Miami GP. The Milton Keynes-based team has faced challenges at the beginning of the season, with Max Verstappen yet to secure a podium finish. Despite a strong first power unit, Red Bull has faced performance struggles, putting them behind in the rankings. To enhance the RB22’s performance, the team introduced a substantial upgrade package at the Miami International Autodrome, which Buemi expressed optimism about following simulation testing. Buemi emphasized the hard work put in by the team to develop and implement these upgrades, highlighting the competitive nature of Formula 1 and the importance of outperforming rival teams through continuous improvements on the track.
