This iconic F1 track has offered to host two rounds this year to help fill the void of cancelled events.
Silverstone has offered to host a second race this year to make up for the canceled Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix events due to conflicts in the Middle East. The cancellation of these events left a significant gap in the calendar, despite the season resuming with the Miami Grand Prix this weekend. The British circuit’s managing director, Stuart Pringle, has expressed readiness to step in and host another race to help fill the void left by the two removed events. While replacement dates for the canceled races have not been confirmed, Silverstone remains prepared to act swiftly if needed. The fluid global situation has created uncertainties around the schedule, with F1 acknowledging the challenges but remaining hopeful about potential solutions down the road.
