Revolutionary Updates: F1 2026 Car Changes Unveiled in Historic Decision

A major meeting was held on Monday between F1 and the FIA in which potential changes to the regulations were discussed.

The FIA has confirmed changes to the 2026 F1 cars after a meeting on Monday to address concerns from drivers and fans during the April break.

Gathered on April 20, major decisions were made in four categories – qualifying, the race, race starts, and wet weather adjustments.

Changes include modifications to energy management parameters to encourage more consistent driving and improve overtaking opportunities.

Other adjustments focus on capping power levels in specific race conditions and enhancing visibility in wet weather through simplified rear light systems.

Further developments, such as a low power start detection system, will be tested and evaluated during the upcoming Miami Grand Prix.
