Any changes to the technical regulations could be decided today in a key meeting.
F1 is convening a high-level meeting on Monday to discuss possible changes to the technical regulations following recent talks. These discussions were prompted by issues observed in the first three races of the season. Driver safety and race dynamics are key topics, with a focus on improving qualifying and addressing dangerous closing speeds. Meetings involving FIA, F1, drivers, and teams were held in April to evaluate potential rule adjustments. Any agreed changes will be presented to the World Motor Sport Council before the Miami Grand Prix in early May. The upcoming race weekends in Miami and Canada will be Sprint events, with a return to a more traditional race format expected at Barcelona-Catalunya in mid-June.
