Red Bull has revamped its technical department after a challenging start to the new season.
Red Bull has announced organizational changes to address a challenging start to the 2026 season, with the team currently in sixth place in the constructors’ standings.
To enhance performance, Ben Waterhouse will take on an expanded role as chief performance and design engineer, overseeing design and vehicle performance.
Waterhouse, who joined Red Bull in 2017 and was previously head of performance engineering, will report to technical director Pierre Wache.
Andrea Landi has been named head of performance, set to join the team on July 1, bringing experience from Ferrari and Racing Bulls.
These changes follow the news of head of racing Gianpiero Lambiase’s planned departure in 2028, as Red Bull emphasizes internal talent development and attracting expertise.
