Max Verstappen has expressed racing comfort when it comes to driving in GT and endurance competitions – but one fellow driver has stated it is not without its complications.

Williams F1 driver Alex Albon expressed his opinion that endurance racing is not a flawless form of racing despite Max Verstappen’s positive feedback. Albon, who has also competed in GT races such as the DTM, shared that he prefers the single-driver format of F1 over the shared car dynamic in endurance racing. He acknowledged the appeal of endurance racing’s different dynamics but stated his preference for F1 cars. Albon mentioned the political aspects and measures like Balance of Performance (BoP) in endurance racing that can detract from the purity of competition. Despite its imperfections, Albon recognized the excitement and enjoyment that endurance racing can offer.
