Dan Ticktum is still without a seat for the competitive introduction of Gen4 in Formula E next season.
Dan Ticktum has disclosed that he is currently not making any progress with Cupra Kiro regarding a seat for Gen4 next season in Formula E, expressing his dissatisfaction with how he has been treated. Ticktum, among several drivers without a contract for the competitive Gen4 introduction next season, has been with the same team for his fifth Formula E campaign. Despite challenges beyond his control in the final year of Gen3, Ticktum has shown strong pace, though he has faced bad luck in races. While other drivers are locking down seats for Gen4, Ticktum is yet to secure a new contract and is discontent with his treatment from Cupra Kiro. The 26-year-old’s goal is to be on the grid for Gen4, believing it will advance the championship, and he is keen to give it a try, viewing it as a significant step forward for the series.
