Jack Doohan is dovetailing his Haas F1 reserve role with an LMP2 seat in the European Le Mans Series.
Jack Doohan remains optimistic about his chances of racing in Formula 1 and is gearing up for his European Le Mans Series debut this weekend alongside Nielsen Racing at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain. Despite being dropped from Alpine after just seven rounds last year, the 23-year-old is ready to return to full-time competition in the LMP2 class of ELMS. Doohan is feeling excited and well-prepared for the challenges ahead, including his first live driver change and transitioning from F1 and F2 to sports car racing. While he acknowledges the appeal of a career in sports cars, his ultimate goal is still Formula 1, and he believes there is a solid opportunity for him to make it back to the pinnacle of motorsport.
