One of the most iconic driver-car pairings in F1 history are to be reunited next weekend!
Jenson Button will once again have the opportunity to drive his 2009 championship-winning Brawn F1 car, the BGP-001.
This car holds special significance as it led Button to his drivers’ crown in a remarkable season.
Button has previously driven the car, including at Silverstone, and will showcase it at the Goodwood Members’ Meeting next weekend.
Only three Brawn BGP 001 chassis were ever made, with each having its own unique racing history.
Button’s car was BGP001/02, while Barrichello used BGP001/01 and BGP001/03 for various races during the season.
The BGP-001 represents a pivotal moment in F1 history, especially with its remarkable success story in 2009.
