Historic British car manufacturer Lola has made history in motorsport by unveiling a revived classic sports car running on sustainable fuel.
The Lola T70, redesigned and updated with a 5.0-litre Chevrolet V8 engine, boasts impressive performance figures such as a 0–60 mph time of 2.5 seconds, 530 bhp, and a top speed of 203 mph.
The debut of the T70S took place at the Royal Automobile Club in London, attracting attention from RacingNews365, with 16 units planned for production across road and track-specific variants.
Accompanying the T70S is the road legal T70S GT, featuring a 6.2-litre engine generating 500 bhp and hitting 0–60 mph in 2.9 seconds, while ensuring compliance with homologation standards.
Driven by the aim to reduce CO2 emissions by 54% compared to the original model, the T70S incorporates sustainable materials and modern manufacturing techniques, all while maintaining the spirit and legacy of the legendary Lola T70.
